 GREECE

 Greece is in the Mediterranean, southeastern Europe. The Greek mainland is made up of the regions of Central Greece, Peloponnese, Thessaly, Epirus, Macedonia and Thrace. Peleponeso of the peninsula is united to the mainland by the Corinth ism. The main training is in the mountainous north, the mountains Pindo, extending southwards in a landscape of plains, hills and pine forests. 97% of the population is Greek Orthodox religion: There are Muslim minorities, Roman Catholic and Jewish.

  The Greeks have a historical and cultural heritage very important. The traditions and customs vary by region. The Greek Orthodox church still has a strong influence especially in rural areas.
