GREECE
Greece is in the Mediterranean, southeastern Europe. The Greek mainland is made up of the regions of Central Greece, Peloponnese, Thessaly, Epirus, Macedonia and Thrace. Peleponeso of the peninsula is united to the mainland by the Corinth ism. The main training is in the mountainous north, the mountains Pindo, extending southwards in a landscape of plains, hills and pine forests. The islands make up one fifth of the Greek territory and most of them are in the Aegean Sea between Greece and Turkey (the Sporades, the Cyclades and Rhodes). The exception are the Ionian Islands which are on the west coast.
